Field Service Engineer, £35,000 - £38,000 per annumBased from ThetfordMonday to Friday, 40 Hours per week About the Role:Our client, a leader in the industrial services sector, is looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their team. This role offers a great opportunity for a professional with expertise in maintaining and servicing industrial systems. You will be responsible for ensuring equipment functions efficiently, providing top-level service, and working both independently and within a supportive team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform service, repair, fault diagnosis, and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Effectively utilize the computer system to manage tasks and records.
  • Communicate customer requirements and any site changes to service coordinators in writing.
  • Identify spare part requirements and report these, including part numbers, to the service team.
  • Refer any product or service complaints to the relevant manager for investigation.
  • Share solutions, successes, and opportunities with the Service Manager.
 Key Skills & Experience:
  • Experience within a similar role with Mechanical / Electrical experience
  • Ability to diagnose and solve equipment faults.
  • Strong record-keeping and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and IT skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and stay calm under pressure.
  • Willingness to work independently and as part of a team.
