Orion is recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering company for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer. Following the award of a new contract, the company is expanding their team to ensure planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and handle reactive repairs across various sites. The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems to ensure peak performance. You will work closely with both the maintenance and operations teams, carrying out both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine inspections of electrical systems, equipment, and components, identifying hazards and required repairs.
  • As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults, carrying out necessary repairs or adjustments.
  • Execute electrical installations, system upgrades, and modifications as needed.
  • Maintain and repair electrical systems such as motors, lighting, control systems, and wiring.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed and materials used.

 

Electrical Maintenance Engineer Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer or in a similar role.
  • NVQ Level 3 or above in a relevant field.
  • 18th Edition certification (preferred).
  • Testing and inspection qualifications (preferred).
  • Experience with both single-phase and three-phase electrical installations.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safety regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.Benefits:
