Berry Recruitment are seeking a motivated Trainee Shipping Administrator to support the shipping department for a busy establishment based in Thetford.

This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to learn the logistics industry and gain hands-on experience with shipment processing, documentation, and customer service.

Job Title: Trainee Shipping Administrator

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with processing and tracking shipments.
  • Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Help prepare shipping forms (bills of lading, packing lists, etc.).
  • Update shipment tracking systems and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Assist with resolving shipping discrepancies or delays.
  • Provide general administrative support to the shipping team.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; college or vocational training in logistics is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
