- Manage and enhance HSE processes, procedures, and resources to ensure compliance and safety excellence.
- Develop and maintain Health & Safety and Environmental management systems, including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
- Chair regular HSE Committee meetings, documenting minutes and driving action points.
- Investigate health and safety incidents, facilitate root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, certification bodies, and regulators, supporting audits and inspections.
- Conduct risk assessments, internal audits, and HSE tours, ensuring recommended controls are implemented.
- Identify and support training requirements to uphold the business’s HSE standards.
- A NEBOSH Diploma in Health & Safety (or equivalent).
- Proven management experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in implementing international management system standards (ISO 45001 & ISO 14001).
- The ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills to inspire and lead a positive workplace culture.
- (Desirable) Experience managing ionising radiation.
