On behalf of our Thetford based manufacturing client we are looking for a HR MANAGER to join their team.

As theHRManager, you will serve as the keyHRcontact, providing comprehensiveHRsupport and ensuring the company's compliance with employment regulations. You'll also take ownership of developingHRpolicies, supporting payroll, and providing guidance to line managers on staff development and engagement.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Act as the keyHRcontact within the organisation.
  • Mentor and develop theHRAssistant.
  • EnsureHRpolicies are compliant, updated, and accessible.
  • Provide in-house training and guidance to line managers onHRpolicies.
  • Liaise with Occupational Health teams and manage employee relations.
  • ProvideHR-related reporting, highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Support the CEO withHRdecision-making and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead recruitment efforts, including liaising with external agencies.
  • Oversee staff appraisal processes and ensure regular reviews.
  • Manage job descriptions, organisational charts, and payroll processes.
  • Collaborate with insurers regarding claims and other ad hocHRduties.

Required Skills:

  • ProvenHRmanagement experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of time and attendance systems is desirable.
  • Experience in liaising with external agencies and Occupational Health.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • CIPD Level 3 or higher.

  • Excellent organisational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and projects.
  • Clear, consistent, and engaging communicator.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team and manage remotely when needed.

Experience:

  • Experience in managingHRwithin a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in recruitment, employee relations, and payroll support.
