HR Business Partner

Location: London/East of England (Some travel with home working)

Salary: Up to £70,000 base salary + Car allowance, Bonus & Excellent Benefits

Resourcing4HR are seeking a skilled and ambitious HR Business Partner to join our client’s HR team. This exciting opportunity is ideal for a driven individual with leadership potential and a passion for HR. The successful candidate will have broad experience across Employee Relations (ER), Learning & Development (L&D), Talent Management, Workforce Planning, and Recruitment. In this role, you will partner closely with Operations Directors and Project Management teams, implementing a comprehensive people strategy that drives employee engagement, performance, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Business Partnering

  • Role model HR business partnering across your areas of responsibility.
  • Understand the commercial viability of projects and enhance performance through people-related activities.
  • Build strong relationships with managers to influence decision-making and drive performance.
  • Collaborate with other HR Business Partners on internal projects.

People & Project Strategy

  • Assist the HR Director with resource forecasting and plan for future workforce needs.
  • Work with the Resourcing team to ensure effective recruitment processes and robust governance.
  • Identify skill shortages and demographic trends, creating strategies to address them.

Leadership & Culture

  • Manage employee relations matters to promote a high-performance culture.
  • Support the execution of annual HR activities and talent review processes.
  • Champion diversity and inclusion through people-related activities and drive cultural change across the business.
  • Influence leadership to embed inclusive practices throughout projects.

Employee Experience

  • Drive engagement strategies and minimise turnover through proactive planning.
  • Manage absence levels and trends effectively to ensure the wellbeing of employees.
  • Utilise engagement surveys to identify areas for improvement and action plans.

About you:

  • Proven experience in generalist HR, with a strong background in business partnering and coaching line managers.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of employment law, with practical experience in applying this in a complex business environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build credible relationships across all levels.
  • Resilience and the ability to tackle challenges proactively, especially when dealing with senior management.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team and network across the business.
  • MCIPD qualification (desirable).
