Job Title: ICT Technician
Location: Multiple School Sites
Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum
Overview:
We are seeking a proactive ICT Technician to join our dynamic team, dedicated to providing first-line technical support within a school environment. This role is essential for ensuring that our technology services across various school sites run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line IT support for Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications in schools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on-site and remotely.
- Assist staff and students with setup, installation, and configuration of ICT equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of support requests and solutions in our ticketing system.
- Collaborate with senior technicians to escalate complex issues when necessary.
- Conduct routine checks and maintenance of ICT equipment across multiple school locations.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
Essential Requirements:
- A valid UK driving license and access to a car for site visits to various schools.
- Enhanced DBS check (carried out by employer)
- Two professional references.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an IT support role, particularly with Windows and Microsoft 365.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and travel to multiple school locations as required.
