Contract Personnel are recruiting for a Paint Sprayer/Blasting Operative based in the Norfolk area. Own transport is essential.

To provide paint spray and blasting operative coating services to clients including preparation of materials and equipment, application of product ensuring a world class service whilst raising the company’s presence within the industry.

The below is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.

Role specific responsibilities

  • Setting up of blasting equipment
  • Masking & Preparing items for blast cleaning
  • Ensuring all materials are processed safely
  • Preparing surfaces to approved standards in order that items can be painted
  • Setting up of paint spraying equipment
  • Ensuring materials are processed and mixed to the right specification
  • Preparing surfaces in order that items can be painted
  • Applying wide range of coating products
  • Following strict safety regulations covering the use of potentially hazardous materials
  • Carry out visual inspections of completed painted items
  • Liaise with administrator regarding queries on paperwork of jobs processed
  • Managing workshop assistant
  • Any other reasonable duties as required by your line manager

Shift pattern:

Monday to Friday 07:30 - 16:00
