Position: Private Client Solicitor, NQ to 2 (or soon to be qualified)
Role type: Permanent, Full-Time (part-time applicants will be considered)
Location: Norfolk
Salary guide: 40,000 - 55,000 per annum
We are partnering with a top ranked and prestigious law firm with offices across the Norfolk region, who are seeking to recruit for a Private Client Solicitor from newly qualified to two years PQE. This is a permanent, full-time position, that offers flexible hybrid working.
Key Role Responsibilities:
- Managing a varied caseload of private client matters
- Advising clients on wills, estate administration, and probate issues
- Assisting clients in matters related to lasting powers of attorney and Court of Protection applications
- Conducting estate planning activities, including inheritance tax planning and trusts
- Providing guidance and support to clients in matters of lifetime gifting and charitable giving
- Preparing legal documentation, such as wills and powers of attorney
- Researching and staying up-to-date with changes in legislation and industry best practises
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor (or soon to be qualified) from NQ - 2 years PQE with experience in the private client sector.
- Ideally have broad experience handling wills, probate, estate planning, and lasting powers of attorney
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Proven experience managing a caseload with minimal supervision
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
