Engineer SchedulerLocation: ThetfordSalary: £25,000.00 - £32,000.00 per annum (dependent on experience) Job Summary:We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Engineer Scheduler to join our clients team in Thetford. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient planning and coordination of engineering activities, ensuring that engineers are deployed effectively to meet operational and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and coordinate engineers for planned and reactive maintenance, installations, and service visits.
  • Manage workloads, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to meet customer demands.
  • Liaise with engineers, customers, and internal departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely job completion.
  • Maintain accurate records of job assignments, engineer availability, and service schedules.
  • Monitor job progress and provide updates to clients as needed.
  • Assist with procurement of materials and equipment for scheduled works.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in scheduling, planning, or coordination within an engineering or technical environment essential.
