- Perform thorough planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on a wide range of production equipment to ensure reliability
- Quickly and efficiently respond to any unscheduled breakdowns or faults, diagnosing issues
- Actively contribute to identifying process bottlenecks and mechanical inefficiencies across the site.
- Monitor and update the stores system to maintain optimum stock levels of critical parts and materials
- Assist with the installation of new machinery and equipment.
- Promptly escalate any major equipment issues or safety concerns to the Shift Engineering Team Leader or relevant management.
- A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably within high-speed production, FMCG, or automated industries.
- Demonstrated experience in mechanical and electrical fault finding and repair, with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Hands-on experience with automation, robotics, and other advanced technologies commonly used in manufacturing.
- Proficiency in mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, and machine alignment.
- Electrical experience, including wiring, circuits, and troubleshooting control systems.
- Competency in working with PLCs, variable speed drives, and other control systems.
- Familiarity with tools and diagnostic equipment for electrical and mechanical repairs.
