We are looking for a dedicated Account Manager to become the central point of contact for customer accounts within a leading health & beauty product manufacturer. The role involves managing customer relationships, product costing, forecasting account performance, and overseeing new product development. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving account growth and profitability.

Day to Day of the Role:
  • Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, fostering positive and productive relationships to encourage growth and profitability.
  • Generate precise product costings and quotes, tailored to meet both business and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure new projects and existing product lines are delivered on time.
  • Set up products, sales orders, and bills of materials on the system.
  • Identify and address any issues related to orders or customer relationships.
  • Work with customers to agree on annual forecasts and create joint business plans to achieve targets.
  • Achieve sales and margin targets, along with other KPIs, as forecasted.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage the lifecycle of stock by account.
  • Engage with customers to discuss current and potential business or new product opportunities.
  • Represent the customer’s voice within the company, ensuring their requests are met.
  • Monitor personal performance and report updates periodically.
  • Provide cover for other Account Managers as needed to ensure business continuity.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in B2B customer sales, ideally within the health & beauty industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage key customer accounts and maintain strong internal relationships.
  • Competent to proficient Excel skills with a strong focus on data accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic, with the ability to work independently.
  • Passion for the cosmetics and health & beauty industry.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask.
  • Good foundational negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
