Sheet Metal WorkerLocation: LakenheathSalary: £14 - £15 per hour We are currently seeking a Sheet Metal Worker to join our clients team based in Lakenheath. As a Sheet Metal Worker, you will play a crucial role in the fabrication and assembly of sheet metal components using various tools and machinery. The successful candidate will have experience in operating a brake press machine and ideally other related equipment.   Responsibilities:  
  • Operate and maintain machinery such as brake press, guillotine, and cutting tools to fabricate and shape sheet metal according to specifications.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and other documentation to determine the required dimensions, materials, and fabrication methods.
  • Cut, trim, and shape sheet metal using manual and power tools, ensuring precise measurements and smooth finishes.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring the proper storage and handling of materials and tools.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and best practices to maintain a secure work environment.
  • Training provided but experience within a similar role would be highly preferred.
  Requirements:  
  • Experience within a similar role
  • Proficiency in operating a brake press machine, guillotine, and other sheet metal fabrication equipment preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
