Our client who specialise in metal work, and who provides customers with fabrication services from initial to design right through to the completed products, are looking for a Tube Bender to join their team!
Tube Bender Roles and Responsibilities:
- Setting up machinery and prepping the metals
- Placing metal tubing into machines ready bending
- Manipulating and cutting metal down to size
- Using drills, mills, lathes, guillotines
- Work with metal tubes, rods, and bars, shaping them into the desired configurations
- Using a tube bending machine and working from written instructions and plans
- Fabricate parts by flaring, deburring, trimming, and forming material of various dimensions
The ideal Tube Bender will:
- Have previous experience in tube bending
- Be able to work from engineering drawings
- Experience working within a metal/ steel work environment
Working Hours + Benefits:
- Monday - Friday
- 7am - 4pm, with a 1pm finish on Fridays!
- Overtime paid at time and a half
- Company pension scheme
- Onsite parking
