Randstad Education is seeking passionate and adaptable Primary Teachers for long-term opportunities in our partner schools in Thetford and the surrounding villages . Whether you prefer part-time or full-time work, this role allows you to make a significant difference in students' educational journeys. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, managing classroom dynamics, and supporting pupils' academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver inspiring lessons aligned with the primary curriculum.
  • Tailor teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of your pupils.
  • Assess, track, and support student progress, helping them achieve their best.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Maintain effective classroom management, fostering respect and responsibility.
  • Communicate with parents and carers about student progress and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience: Previous experience teaching primary levels is highly desirable.
  • Curriculum Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum including Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage One (KS1) & Key Stage Two (KS2)
  • Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
  • Flexibility: A willingness to adapt to different teaching environments.
  • Commitment: Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
  • Enhanced DBS check (we can assist if you don't already have one) and eligibility to work in the UK.
