MS524 - Production Team LeaderLocation: ThetfordSalary: £42,999 - £63,168Overview:First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Production Team Leader on behalf of one of our clients.Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration. Duties and Responsibilities:   

  • Manage day to day objectives for the site to include operational output, logistics, long term operational and maintenance needs, statutory compliance, resource planning and cost control measures.
  • Identify and achieve key indicators of success, establishing improvement plans and targets for the shift team.
  • Manage and be fully accountable for the core requirements of the SHE management system.
  • Ensure shift teams are competent both technically and behaviourally and that adequate support is available, organised and supervised where necessary.
  • Provide strong management giving precise delegation and responsibility where needed.
  • Motivate and enthuse all members of the shift team to contribute to a purposeful environment.
  • Ensure full implementation and continued improvement of the computerised maintenance management system (CMMS).

Skills and Qualifications:  

  • The successful candidate will be a competent CMMS user with a high level of technical and operational plant awareness.
  • Ideally you will have a ‘time served’ apprenticeship, a management qualification equivalent to level 3 or above.
  • IOSH Managing Safety or above.
  • Minimum of 5 years power generation/utility experience.
  • You will be able to demonstrate excellent leadership, communication and IT skills.
