Pertemps are working in partnership alongside an oustanding SEND provison for Primary & Secondary pupils between Thetford & Norwich. This school utilises state of the art indoor & outdoor therapy & intervention tools for children who struggle with accessing mainstream education.
We are looking to offer open and casual school visits before the end of the summer term (over the next few weeks) for you to get a feel for the schools atmosphere, talk about your experience, and see what it offers both staff and pupils alike.
This post is designed to start in September, either Monday to Fridays, or flexibly working part time.
School hour are 8:30 to 16:00 Monday to Friday during the school term.
This role has no interview process, if you enjoy your visit to the school, then we will wait for the schools confirmation for you to start in September, which they will provide during August 2024.
Pertemps Ideal Candidate:
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support or Mentor (not essential)
- Experienced working alongisde children or those with a range of mental health needs.
- Ideally own a personal vehicle with full Driving License as the school is based in the countryside of Norfolk
- Available Monday to Fridays or part time from September 2024
- Owns a DBS Enhanced Certificate on Update Service (not essential)
- Can visit this school over the next 2 week period for relaxed meeting & tour
- Someone who looks to utilise their personality and aptitude for providing value to children of mixed abilities and age groups
- Experience with behaviour therapy, prevent training, autism, adhd, complex needs
- Volunteering experience is great, as well as any role related to working alongside children
This is a role that commences via Pertemps Education, paid weekly on a Friday during the term time.
We offer an extremely competitive rate of 97.50 per day via Umbrella.
