Warehouse Operative

As a growing company our client are expanding their warehouse team. The successful candidate will be part of a fast-paced warehouse team assisting with the picking, packing and despatching of orders.

Responsibilities:

• Multi-skill functionality role covering all working elements of the depot from Goods in / Picking / Packing / MHE driving & tipping plus loading of vehicles.
• Receive, unload, and put-away incoming stock in the warehouse. Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently, using warehouse barcoding software & PDA.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move, load, and unload materials
• Help maintain stock accuracy by performing regular stock takes and reconciling discrepancies.
• Replenishment of warehouse pick face items on a daily basis.
• Prepare shipments by ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and documentation.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
• Assist with stock control and quality assurance processes.
• May be required to cover delivery drivers' absence to ensure customers receive deliveries.

• Regularly required to reach with hands and arms
• Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50Ibs, occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100Ibs
• UK Driving Licence
• Reasonable level of physical fitness as you will be on your feet, moving about, all day.
• Great work ethic, and prepared to go the extra mile to see a job through to completion.

Hours

42-47.5 hours.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.50-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 47.5 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday 7am -5pm
