Hourly Rate:£14 - £19 per hour (Incl. Bonuses) + Overtime available
Company Overview:We are a recruiting for a manufacturing company based on the outskirts of Thetford, specializing in the production of metal products. We are currently seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join their team and contribute to the production and repair of their products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG welding on various metal components, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings and welding blueprints to accurately execute welding tasks.
- Set up welding equipment, adjust settings, and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect welded joints and structures to identify defects and deviations from quality standards.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment by adhering to company safety protocols and practices.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts by providing insights and suggestions to enhance welding processes and product quality.
- Collaborate with supervisors and managers to report progress, challenges, and accomplishments.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a MIG Welder preferred but training will be given if necessary
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications.
- Familiarity with welding equipment setup, operation, and maintenance.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet production demands.
