Job Title: Welder / FabricatorWe are currently seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our client. In this role, you will be responsible for performing fabrication and coded welding tasks in line with company standards and other relevant guidelines. This is a hands-on position where you will be expected to read and interpret engineering drawings and fabricate products to precise specifications.Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform fabrication and welding tasks in accordance with company standards.
  • Read and understand engineering drawings to build products to required specifications.
  • Execute basic fillet welds and pipe butts to x-ray standard.
  • Work with a variety of materials, including stainless steel 316L, Alloy 800, duplex, and carbon steel.
  • Perform welding using TIG, MMA, and MIG processes, adhering to coding requirements.
  • Undertake a weld test on a pipe butt as part of the application process.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations and all other company policies.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Strong engineering background with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Experience with fabrication and welding to high standards.
  • Coded in TIG/MMA/MIG welding processes on various materials, including stainless steel and alloys.
  • Ability to complete a pipe butt weld test as part of the selection process.
