Sonic Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our accounting team with at least 3 years of senior-level experience in an accountancy practice.
The role involves preparing financial accounts for various business types, handling tax and VAT matters, and ensuring compliance with deadlines.
Candidates should possess strong organizational, communication, and IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software like QuickBooks and Xero.
A minimum educational requirement includes A Levels and at least 5 GCSEs at grade C or above, with Maths and English at grade B or above.
The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working individual to join our team.

Main duties will include:-

• Preparation of financial accounts for sole traders; partnerships and limited companies

• Dealing will all aspects of tax and VAT and adhering to strict deadlines

• Preparing tax returns for individuals; partnerships and limited companies

• Finalising accounts and tax returns

• Liaising and meeting with clients to discuss results and tax issues

• Reviewing and finalising work produced by more junior members of the team

The candidate Must have:-

• Strong organisational and time management skills

• Good communication skills • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills

• Strong IT skills including Microsoft office; QuickBooks; Xero; Sage

• At least 3 years experience at a senior level in an accountancy practice

• Extensive practical knowledge of all main taxes

• Ability to work alone or as part of a team Qualifications Must be educated to at least A Level standard and have at least 5 GCSE’s at grade C or above (Maths and English must be at least grade B or above).
