- Professionally handle phone calls, emails, and administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, photocopying and word processing to keep the office running smoothly.
- Maintain and update records, spreadsheets and databases with precision, complete necessary forms and diaries, and provide support to the team with any additional tasks assigned by management.
- Take charge of the production plan, ensuring a seamless workflow by raising and planning works orders and managing the schedule for incoming materials to guarantee timely and efficient production.
- Maintain accurate stock codes and proactively order new or replacement materials as needed to keep production on track.
- Support the Account Manager in building and nurturing strong customer relationships, handle the setup of new customer accounts and provide continuous care for existing accounts. Occasionally join customer visits and promptly address and resolve any quality control issues or complaints.
- Handle and process sales orders on behalf of clients, ensuring a smooth and efficient order fulfilment process.
- Manage purchase orders, liaise with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and monitor order confirmations and delivery dates to ensure accurate and timely procurement.
- Oversee supplier container schedules, coordinate shipping confirmations and arrange for the dispatch of courier consignments, including samples, to customers or suppliers.
- Share your expertise and knowledge with the team, step in to cover colleagues during holidays or sickness and actively contribute to team meetings to drive continuous improvement.
