Are you from a farming background, with experience working with livestock, looking to join on of the UK's largest food business where you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth running of the companies supply chain, stretching from farms to factory and all the way to customers?

Within this role you will assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the farm, ensuring the welfare and performance of the livestock while maintaining site upkeep and adherence to standards. Key responsibilities include managing environmental conditions, feeding and vaccinating birds, supervising staff, maintaining accurate records, complying with legislation, and covering for the Farm Manager when necessary.

This role would suit a farming background, experienced in working with livestock, looking for an exciting opportunity to join a food business that will invest in your career through continuous development, qualifications and opportunities to progress.

The Role:

  • Ensure optimal conditions, animal welfare, and site upkeep per standards.
  • Oversee feeding, vaccinating, grading of birds, and supervise staff compliance with Health and Safety.
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with legislation and assurance standards.
  • Manage costs, work on other sites as needed, and cover for the Farm Manager.
