My client is looking for a Finance Manager/Head of Finance to join their busy company. This company is situated in the countryside with beautiful offices.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide accurate and timely financial information and reporting for the businesses, including budgets, forecasts and KPI’s.
- Preparing relevant statutory compliance documentation and submissions
- Day to day management of the finance systems and associated processes
- Managing the cash - cash flow analysis, invoice financing reconciliations, focus on working capital
- VAT Returns, Pensions, NI /PAYE
- Overseeing the accounts payable function, treasury management and payroll functions
- Planning, preparation, and management of the annual audit
- Leading on procurement advice and systems for the organisation
- Complete monthly ledger reconciliations
- Continuous development of financial systems, financial reporting, controls and procedures
- General bookkeeping duties
Desirable qualities:
- Be ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified or with equivalent experience
- Previous experience in a Finance Manager/Controller position
- Have previous people management experience/knowledge
- Experience using Xero accounting software
