- Lead the daily operations of the parts department, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and distribution, to keep everything running seamlessly.
- Proactively address parts availability, resolving shortages or excesses.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating favourable terms when needed.
- Provide expert advice and solutions for customer and internal part inquiries.
- Oversee accurate billing and system entries for all parts transactions.
- Mentor and train team members to foster a high-performance culture.
- Maintain health and safety standards within the department.
- Proven experience in a parts department, ideally at either a senior coordination or supervisory level.
- Experience of working in the automotive, construction or general industrial sectors.
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for motivating and supporting a team.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
