Lead the daily operations of the parts department, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and distribution, to keep everything running seamlessly.
Proactively address parts availability, resolving shortages or excesses.
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating favourable terms when needed.
Provide expert advice and solutions for customer and internal part inquiries.
Oversee accurate billing and system entries for all parts transactions.
Mentor and train team members to foster a high-performance culture.
Maintain health and safety standards within the department.

Skills & Experience Required:

Proven experience in a parts department, ideally at either a senior coordination or supervisory level.
Experience of working in the automotive, construction or general industrial sectors.
Strong leadership skills with a passion for motivating and supporting a team.
Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Confidence to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
Proficiency with inventory management systems and basic IT skills.
