Description

We are working with an Industrial Manufacturer who are looking for a QA Admin Support (FTC basis with the chance of going perm) to join their site based in Thirsk.

Responsibilities

  • Provide the objective evidence in an organised and structured way which is in accordance with the quality system/standards.
  • Prove to the client that the company is meeting towards the projects specifications which were agreed.
  • Ensure that the required project specific information is placed in the correct area on Workspace, hard-copies and/or local project folders.
  • Review documentation, identify any errors and arrange for correction as needed.
  • Check all Supplier Test Certification against Purchase Orders and relevant specifications, to ensure there is material traceability.
  • Chase missing or delayed material test certification from suppliers.
  • Assisting the project with supplier issues/NCRs.
  • Escalate any errors or delays in material traceability to the Project and Quality Managers.
  • Assist with NCR and SAM software - creating contracts, downloading reporting information.
  • Any other ad hoc duties as deemed necessary, within your ability to carry out

Education/Qualifications

  • Needs to be IT Literate with a good standard of education, including Maths and English
  • Have previous experience working in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Have attention to detail and will STOP any errors progressing until they are corrected,
  • Use to working with a high volume of information.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Nuclear Safety awareness (or similarly highly regulated industry, e.g. legal, oil and gas, automotive, aerospace, medical etc.) an advantage but training and support will be given.
  • Be able to prioritise workload.
