- Monitor and handle helpdesk tickets in a timely fashion.
- Allocate incoming requests and update the system accordingly, passing information on to the relevant IT Engineer to ensure issues can be resolved effectively.
- Provide clear communication throughout the ticketing process to ensure that everyone is kept up to date.
- Handle the administration of new starter IT onboarding and relevant changes as required.
- Provide basic first line technical support for software, hardware, and network issues.
- Liaise with external parties for purchasing of new IT equipment and repairs.
- Perform administrative tasks including data entry and the organisation of IT documents.
- Assist the management team in helping to improve processes.
- Ad hoc support with other IT and administrative duties.
- Previous experience in administrative role(s).
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- General understanding of basic IT hardware and software.
- A self motivated approach with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- A passion to further IT knowledge and skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills.
