If so, we have the opportunity you've been looking for! Impression Recruitment are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Systems Administrator to join a longstanding client who offer a rewarding career in a welcoming and collaborative environment. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the implementation, maintenance, and optimisation of IT infrastructure and network systems across multiple offices. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including the support team to enhance the overall performance within the business from an IT perspective, allowing for further growth.  Key responsibilities as IT Systems Administrator:
  • Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure systems, including Windows servers, firewalls, routers, and switches.
  • Collaborate on group project work related to system and network integration.
  • Manage tasks in alignment with the RASCI matrix, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities.
  • Assist in system change management processes, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.
  • Provision storage for new devices and ensure proper networking of devices to servers with correct IP configurations.
  • Assist with the planning and design of IT systems, applying technical knowledge to meet business requirements.
  • Support the deployment of factory machines and other hardware at assigned sites.
  • Work closely with various departments to ensure IT systems meet operational needs and deliver on business goals.
Key skills & experience required: 
  • Ideally around three years experience within a similar role.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, including the configuration of routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Experience working on system design and planning in an enterprise or business environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders across different departments.
  • Experience working with Windows servers and other core IT infrastructure systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to system maintenance and upgrades.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
In return, the successful IT Systems Administrator will receive a salary of £33,000 - £37,000 per annum, depending on experience and you'll work 8:30am - 5:15pm Monday to Thursday, with an early finish at 3pm on a Friday.
