Cure Talent are thrilled to be partnering with a company who specializes in developing and manufacturing high-quality medical simulation equipment.

We are looking for a highly skilled Mould/Model Maker with strong expertise in either fibreglass or carbon fibre moulding and composite material processes. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end mould-making process from initial prototyping to testing and final production ensuring each mould is crafted to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the design, fabrication, and finishing of fibreglass moulds, ensuring precision and quality in each stage.
  • Develop prototypes and conduct thorough testing to validate moulds, guaranteeing they meet production requirements and quality standards.
  • Manage, mentor, and support a small team of talented individuals with diverse backgrounds in fine arts, prosthetics, and make-up.
  • Guide team members in mastering fibreglass and composite material processes, fostering growth in technical skills and mould-making expertise.
  • Identify opportunities to improve mould-making techniques, efficiency, and overall product quality.

What Were Looking For:

  • Proven experience in mould-making, particularly with fibreglass or similar composite materials.
  • Skilled in prototyping, testing, and preparing moulds for production, with an eye for detail and quality.
  • Experience in managing, mentoring, or training a team, with the ability to inspire and nurture emerging talent.
  • Familiarity or experience with creative fields (fine arts, prosthetics, make-up) is a plus, as our team brings a unique blend of artistic and technical skills.
