A fantastic opportunity has arisen to become part of a dynamic, forward-thinking company located just outside Thirsk!

Our client is seeking a Junior Administrator to join their Sales and Logistics team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role offers comprehensive training designed to open doors to exciting prospects, allowing you to make a direct impact in supporting both the Customer Service and Logistics teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Being the first point of contact for calls and emails, offering a friendly and professional approach
  • Processing sales orders, keeping supplier spreadsheets up to date, and managing order schedules
  • Organising couriers for UK and international deliveries to make sure everything arrives on time
  • Handling general office tasks like ordering stationery and office supplies online
  • Taking on any extra admin tasks as needed by the management team
  • Keeping track of supplier container schedules, chasing shipping confirmations, and working with overseas suppliers
  • Updating logistics spreadsheets daily to keep everything running smoothly
  • Raising internal production orders for components and commodities
  • Receipting incoming stock into the ERP system
  • Creating labels to help warehouse staff stay organised
  • Updating and maintaining stock and location databases
  • Sharing knowledge and skills with the team to support everyone’s development
  • Attending meetings when needed to stay up to date and contribute ideas
  • Helping out with customer service and supporting account managers

Key Benefits We Offer:

  • Monday to Thursday, 08:30am to 5:00pm, and Fridays 08:30am to 2:30p
