Major Recruitment are recruiting Machine Operative near Thirsk.
Starting salary: 15.97
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Weighing, mixing and packing of ingredients branches.
- Powder and Oil blending using semi-automated/automated mixing equipment;
- Packing of pre-blended powders into bags/boxes/sacks (up to 25kg) as required.
- Achieve KPIs and personal competencies;
- Updating and maintaining documentation and records;
- Work as a team to produce and execute the weekly production plan.
You bring:
- Practical problem-solving skills;
- HACCP/good hygiene and housekeeping;
- Team working and collaboration skills;
- Previous production experience in a food manufacturing environment;
- Effective communication skills;
- A results-focused mentality.
Shift Pattern:
You will be required to work the shift pattern. Each shift will be for 8 hours and 15 minutes, including a 30-minute unpaid break. The details of the shift pattern is as given below:
- Week 1 - 06.00 to 14.15 (Morning shift)
- Week 2 - 14.00 to 22:15 (Afternoon shift)
- Week 3 - 22.00 to 06.15 (Night shift)
