SAGE 50 Payroll & SAGE 50 Accounts Administration Manager

We are a Cardiff-based family-run construction firm that is now seeking an experienced Payroll and Accounts Administrator.

Working in a small office requires great communication skills to interact with clients and suppliers. With outstanding IT abilities and the ability to work on your own initiative, you will play an important role in ensuring that the business runs smoothly and that the highest levels of service are maintained at all times.

This is a permanent role and the hours are Monday - Friday  (Hours are Negotiable)

Accounts Administration Manager Role Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • AAT qualified or similar preferable
  • A strong working knowledge of Sage Line 50 and Sage Payroll
  • Must have previous experience dealing with CIS, TAX, PAYE, VAT, Job Costings and Production of Management Accounts
  • Excellent skills with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Role Responsibilities

  • Maintain bookkeeping tasks for Sage Accounts: Sales and Purchase Ledgers, Journals, VAT Returns, CIS Administration, Monthly Bank Reconciliation.
  • Process timesheets using an online clocking system.
  • Process the weekly Sage payroll system.
  • Invoicing and records management
  • Preparing year-end reports to trial balance for accountants
  • Prepare financial reports for the director as required.
  • Handle all incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and phone calls.
  • Maintain all personnel and customer files, as well as the office systems.
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers and subcontractors for finance related queries
  • Advertise Jobs on indeed and other recruitment boards.
  • Any other duties necessary to maintain an efficient and productive office environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

Education: GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

  • Sage Line 50 Accounting: 3 years (preferred)
