Our client is seeking a dedicated Dementia Lead Nurse to join their Specialist Dementia Care Community at a newly developed unit in Glasgow. This exciting opportunity is perfect for those looking to make a real difference in a purpose-designed residential setting.



This role offers an hourly rate up to 23.23, making it a rewarding opportunity for the right candidate. You'll be part of a pioneering team in a state-of-the-art environment, with the chance to work 12-hour shifts over four days, focusing on delivering high-quality dementia care.

The Dementia Lead Nurse will:

  • Deliver and coordinate person-centred dementia care and therapeutic interventions
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team including nursing, social care, psychology, and wellbeing practitioners
  • Provide clinical management and leadership within the unit
  • Manage and support staff to ensure high standards of care
  • Implement positive approaches to behaviour and de-escalation interventions
  • Ensure the therapeutic environment meets the needs of residents

The ideal Dementia Lead Nurse will have:

  • An active NMC Pin
