Our client, a reputable civil engineering contractor, is looking to expand their team by hiring an experienced Site Engineer on a permanent basis for projects around Central Scotland. Specialising in groundworks for housing developments, they offer a comprehensive range of services, including earthworks, drainage, piling, roads, foundations, concrete works, and plotwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting out and surveying the site.
  • Checking plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy.
  • Overseeing quality control and health and safety on site.
  • Supporting the Site Agent and performing other site engineering duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Site Engineer with a civil engineering contractor.
  • Experience in setting out groundworks for housing projects.
  • Competence in setting out, as this role is primarily focused on this skill.
  • Relevant civil engineering qualification (HND/C or Degree).
  • Valid CSCS card.
