Location: Thornliebank, Glasgow
Salary: 35,000-40,000per annum

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Buyer to join a growing team in Thornliebank, Glasgow. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the company's procurement strategy and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and subcontractors
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers
• Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure timely availability of materials
• Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to understand project requirements
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
• Address and resolve any issues related to delivery or quality of purchased items
• Develop and implement strategies for cost reduction and efficiency improvement
• Stay updated on market trends and new products that could benefit the company
