My Thornton based client, an international Engineering and Manufacturing Leader, are looking to recruit a Process operator for a duration of 6 months.Purpose: To operate manufacturing processes to the required standards to deliver production plans.Principal Accountability's:* Operates the manufacturing process to the required quality and safety standards and relevant operating procedures.* Undertakes appropriate plant maintenance to ensure efficient and effective operation of plant* Maintains required standards of plant housekeeping to ensure safe and efficient working practices.* Identifies continuous improvement opportunities within the scope of the role and supports wider continuous improvement activities. Role Profile:Experience working in a manufacturing/hazardous environment where safety is a key priority desirable.Experience of working in a busy team, delivering to plan and adhering to strict processes and procedures desirable.Able to problem solve and troubleshoot within remit of own role.Due to the physical nature of the role, role holder must be capable of carrying out physical work often strenuous, lifting, stairs and working in confined spaces.Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:00 (36.25 hours) Occasional overtime available.This is a temporary position which is expected to continue for at least 6 months however, there could be further opportunities for the right candidate.
