LTA / Reed Education are seeking an experienced, Level 2 Teaching Assistant to assist in a Key Stage 1 class. The role will consist of general duties and will include some small group and 1-2-1 work.

This new TA2 role is a full-time position covering 5 days per week, from 08:45-15:15.

This role is to start immediately with the idea of this role becoming permanent.

The candidate must have a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) and experience of working 1-2-1 with an SEN pupil.

Within this role, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Monitoring targets for future progress
  • Establishing and developing strong relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues, and carers
  • Have a clear understanding of all the needs of all pupils
  • Monitoring pupils progress in reference to the school’s practice
  • Excellent behaviour management skills
