Quality Engineer- AS9100

Salary: Dependant on experience

Working Week: 36 hours basic week. (Additional hours may be required dependant on workload)

Our client A&G Metal Treatments is hiring Quality Engineer to join their team.

Quality Engineer For this role you must have experience of working to a Quality Management System, reviewing non-conformances, conducting root cause analysis and the ability to generate new ideas. The ideal candidate will have strong communication experience due to the high level of customer interaction, and also the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

What this role will entail:

  • You will experience participating in quality investigations and audits, which will involve undertaking root cause analysis.
  • For this role you will need to maintain the QMS - specifically driving and monitoring the QMS.
  • Identify training requirements for the quality teams, and help to develop programs and promote professional development
  • Review and update of customer requirements and specifications.
  • Review / Maintain / update internal specifications / instructions.
  • Maintain the company calibration index, liaise with suppliers to organise onsite & offsite calibrations.

What do you need?

  • Experience of working in an ISO/AS9100 environment is a requirement
  • Experience with NADCAP (would be advantageous)
  • You must have previous experience in - maintaining/developing QMS, root cause analysis, non-conformances etc.
  • Ability to communicate efficiently with a variety of different levels of people so you must have excellent communication skills and also excellent organisational skills as you will be communicating with people, as well as attending participating in audits.
  • Ability to work independently but also support the team with any quality issues.
