Primary HLTA | Role Overview:
- Deliver planned lessons: Lead classes and deliver pre-prepared lessons in the teacher's absence, ensuring continuity in learning.
- Support student development: Work with small groups or individual students to provide targeted support, particularly for those with special educational needs or those who require additional assistance.
- Assist with classroom management: Help maintain a positive learning environment by managing behaviour and supporting effective classroom routines.
- Provide feedback on progress: Monitor and record students progress, sharing insights with teachers to support tailored instruction and improvement plans.
- Contribute to lesson planning and preparation: Collaborate with teachers to prepare resources, assist in lesson planning, and adapt materials to support different learning needs.
- Join a well-established academy trust with clear progression paths, including access to Teacher Training for aspiring Primary Teachers.
- Develop your leadership skills by taking on additional responsibility in the Nursery class.
- Work in a nurturing environment that prioritises both students and staffs growth.

- A degree ideally closely linked to Education, Early Childhood Studies or Child Development
- Previous experience working within Early Years, ideally in Nursery or Reception.
- A confident, enthusiastic approach to classroom management and supporting young learners.
- An HLTA qualification would be advantageous or previous experience as an EYFS Teaching Assistant.
- Passionate about supporting young childrens development and eager to take on more responsibility in a rewarding role.
