About the Role:
Are you a qualified and experienced KS1 Teacher ready to inspire young learners and make a difference in their educational journey? Long Term Futures is working with a highly regarded primary school in Thornton Heath, Croydon, to appoint a dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher for a January 2025 start. Your Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum
- Monitor and assess students' progress, maintaining accurate records of their development
- Prepare students for upcoming assessments and foster a love for learning
- Support children who may need additional encouragement to reach their full potential
- Build strong relationships with colleagues, students, and their families to create a collaborative learning environment
- Ensure the classroom is well-organised, safe, and conducive to effective learning

What We're Looking For:
- A Bachelor's degree in education or a related subject
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A valid DBS and two references from previous employers
- Experience teaching in a primary school setting, particularly within Key Stage 1
- Strong collaboration, organisational, and communication skills
- A proactive and engaging approach to teaching
