The ideal candidate will be supporting the Catering Manager in managing, supervising and training staff in the preparation andproduction of all food.
About the Role:
- Responsible for all records to be maintained in respect of Food Hygiene Regulations
- Responsible for the managing of allprocesses for a Catering Services
- Responsible for ensuring the delivery of the agreed menu to all patients within the agreed timeframes
- Communicate and liaise with a variety of groups both internal and external from the Trusts Senior Managers to include Patients Forum, Suppliers and Staff
- Conduct reviews, Appraisals and Staff Development to ensure appropriate Training Programmes are incorporated into all Service Planning
- Understanding of food hygiene regulations
- Knowledge of the catering process including HACCP identifications
- Advanced food and hygiene diploma Health and Safety qualifications
- Experience of supervising staff in catering environments
- Ability to communicateeffectively
