Venn Group have been approached by an organisation and would like to introduce the following position available

Position:          Young Persons Support Worker 

Location:         Thornton-Cleveleys 

Rate:                Negotiable depending on experience 

Length:            Ad-hoc

Hours:             15-30 hours per week

Key Responsibilities include:

Provide care and support to children and young people in a family-like setting, helping them feel safe, valued, and nurtured.

  • Implement therapeutic approaches, including P.A.C.E. and the Resilience Framework, in daily interactions to promote emotional and psychological well-being.
  • Assist in life story work by helping children understand and process their experiences, supporting self-identity and personal growth.
  • Support goal-setting and future planning by working closely with children to identify personal aspirations and prepare them for independence.
  • Promote stability and consistency by building strong, positive relationships with the children and young people, offering continuity in care and support.
  • Help manage day-to-day activities such as meal preparation, school routines, recreational activities, and appointments, ensuring children’s needs are met.
  • Encourage personal development by promoting social, emotional, and educational growth in a structured environment.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a coordinated and professional approach to care.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to children’s care plans, development, and any incidents, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
  • Adhere to safeguarding procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all children and young people in the hom
