Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Reeson Education is currently seeking a dedicated Full-Time Learning Support Assistant to join a special needs provision in Thornton Heath. This role offers an asap start. The school requires previous experience working with children with SEN.

Learning Support Assistant Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with a range of SEN.
  • Assist the class teacher in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the academic and social development of students.
  • Collaborate effectively with SENCOs, teachers, and parents to ensure the holistic development of each student.

Learning Support Assistant Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is essential.
  • Understanding of various SEN conditions and appropriate support strategies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Ability to adapt and respond to the individual needs of students with SEN.
