PPA Cover Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and flexible PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) Cover Teacher to join our local schools in Croydon and Sutton. This role is ideal for a qualified teacher who is passionate about contributing to the educational journey of students across various key stages.

Day to day of the role:

• Deliver high-quality teaching across a range of subjects and age groups, from Early Years to Key Stage 3.

• Plan and execute engaging lessons that cater to the needs of all students.

• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

• Collaborate with fellow teachers to maintain a consistent and effective teaching approach.

• Utilise positive and proven behaviour management strategies.

• Support students with special educational needs, ensuring an inclusive learning environment.

• Foster a nurturing classroom atmosphere to encourage student engagement and learning.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, TEACH FIRST, etc.).

• Experience teaching in a primary or secondary school setting.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage challenging behaviours effectively.

• Enthusiastic and nurturing approach to teaching.

• Strong organisational and team-working skills.
