8:30am - 3:30pm

Vision for Education are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join the growing team at a two-form Mainstream Primary School in the Netherton area, Sefton. The role will be based in the school's dedicated ASC Provision, supporting pupils with complex special educational needs and assisting the class teacher in delivering a high standard of education and care. Due to the nature of the role, previous experience of supporting pupils with SEN and intimate caring needs is an essential requirement for this position.

The successful candidate will join the team on a temporary, full-time contract, with the potential for this to become a permenant contract with strong feedback and involvment within the school. 

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored support to pupils with ASC and complex needs.
  • Assist the teacher in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
  • Support pupils' social, emotional, and educational development.
  • Work collaboratively with staff to deliver personalised strategies and interventions.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications or proven experience in a similar role.
  • Enthusiasm and passion about working with children to support their needs and help them reach their potential
  • Excellent attendance, punctuality, and reliability.
  • A commitment to supporting the ethos of the school.
