The Role – CNC Turner

As a skilled CNC Turner, you'll be operating Fanuc and Mitsubishi-based CNC machines, crafting high-quality precision components from materials like Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Inconel, and Titanium. Your role is crucial in ensuring aerospace components meet exact specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Setting & operating multi-axis CNC lathes
Producing precision aerospace components to tight tolerances
Self-checking work using in-process inspection tools
Working closely with engineers and quality teams to maintain top-tier standards
Keeping your workspace safe, tidy, and efficient

What You Need:

Apprentice trained CNC Turner (Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering/Manufacturing preferred)
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail – precision is key in aerospace!
Basic computer skills – machine shop inventory is managed digitally
Good communication – teamwork makes the dream work!
Flexibility – adapting to new challenges and priorities

Bonus Points If You Have:

3+ years’ experience in precision engineering (not essential, but desirable!)
Familiarity with multi-axis CNC machines and aerospace-grade materials
