The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of administrative functions, contributing to the overall efficiency of the council.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive administrative support to designated departments, including managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining calendars.

Prepare and organize documents, reports, and presentations as required.

Assist with data entry and maintain accurate records in various databases and filing systems.

Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and other communications, responding to inquiries and directing them as necessary.

Support the procurement process by managing purchase orders and office supplies.

Assist in the planning and coordination of council meetings and community events.

Collaborate with team members to ensure all administrative tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

GCSEs or equivalent qualifications, including English and Mathematics (essential).

Previous experience in an administrative role
