Shift Supervisor
Location: Thrapston
Salary: 31,000 - 34,000 per annum
Shift Pattern:
- Sunday: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM
- Monday - Thursday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

About the Role
We are seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee operations at our busy distribution centre. You will ensure smooth daily operations, including stock accuracy, audits, Dangerous Goods (DG) management, and AI-driven process improvements. While there are no direct people management responsibilities, you will lead the shift, ensure targets are met, and keep everything on track.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory & Stock Control:
- Ensure system accuracy across WMS and ERP.
- Conduct stock reconciliation, cycle counts, and monitor inventory KPIs.
- Compliance & Regulatory Management:
- Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and safety standards.
- Oversee Dangerous Goods (DG) handling and conduct internal audits.
- AI & Process Optimisation:
- Support AI-driven inventory solutions and process automation.
- Identify opportunities for warehouse optimisation and inventory improvements.
- Leadership & Team Development:
- Support and train DC Team Leaders and staff.
- Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
Skills & Experience Required
- Experience in inventory management, stock control, and audits.
- Knowledge of Dangerous Goods (DG) handling and compliance.
- Familiarity with AI-driven inventory solutions and warehouse optimisation.
- Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, and compliance audits.
