Project Engineer - Pharma / Chemical/ Sustainability / EFW / Energy Transition 

Location: Woking 

What you will enjoy doing

  • You will manage projects that enable innovative supply solutions across the business including industrial gas solutions, hydrogen supply, decarbonisation & gas to future clean energy providers
  • You will provide engineering support to sales to help win and deliver new projects
  • Also, you will ensure that project design/costs are competitive and solutions are practicable
  • You will manage project timescales
  • You will ensure that plant, equipment and systems comply with the requirements of statutory requirements and company standards, where required in conjunction with leading industry experts
  • Additionally, you will provide technical expertise in the preparation of standards to enable Projects management and improvement
  • You will opportunities to lead teams of multi-discipline engineers in preparing and designing solutions to complex process problems
  • You will review detailed drawings of equipment and systems and equipment specifications
  • You will prepare project documentation
  • Furthermore, you will participate in the selection of equipment suppliers and contractors
  • And lastly, you will deliver classroom-based training (theoretical and practical) to plant operational and maintenance staff in normal system operation and diagnosis

What makes you great

  • You have experience of working in technical roles in a process industry
  • You have practical experience of working in an industrial environment such as water, steelworks, process industry, Oil & Gas.
  • Also, you have Chartered Mechanical or Process Engineer or close to applying for Chartered status - We will provide mentoring support
  • You have degree Qualified in Mechanical, Chemical or Process Engineering discipline
  • Project Management skills, APM PMQ preferred but can be provided
  • Health and Safety Legislation knowledge, a NEBOSH Diploma preferred but can be provided
  • You are able to demonstrate a drive to deliver and improve and continuously improve self
  • Additionally, you have knowledge of the appropriate Legislative and Regulatory requirements associated with pressure systems, operational process plants and site construction
  • You can demonstrate effective prioritisation during periods of competing demands
  • You work effectively in a team environment
  • And lastly, you have knowledge of industry standards
