Job Type: Permanent

Role:

Site Manager required by leading main contractor to run a decent homes project in Reading. The framework has 9 years left to run and will deliver new Kitchens to 800 properties over the next 2 years. The successful individual will workalongside 1 other Site Manager and reportto a Project Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all site activities for a planned refurbishment project focused on affordable housing.
  • Oversee the execution of works in occupied residences, ensuring minimal disruption to residents.
  • Report directly to the Project Manager.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain high safety standards on site.
  • Ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
  • Address any challenges or issues that may arise during the refurbishment process.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a site manager in residential refurbishment projects, particularly in occupied homes.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Familiarity with construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction management.
